Sales and marketing department jointly with designers have elaborated "The conception of assortment strategy of the plant for the period up to 2013". This is the outlook of expansion of manufactured products and its promotion on the market. The conception provides market promotion of two trademarks: "Ural" for the professionals and "Druzhba" for the private users.
Nomenclature range of each trademark provides the full assortment of petrol-motor saws, portable motor products, power equipment and auxiliaries, tools, protective outer garments, personal protective equipment and spare parts. Those products, absent in the nomenclature range, are the point of development and mastering in mass production in the near future.
First item in the limits of conception and in the "professional" range will be "Ural-70", equipped with traditional high handles, reduction gear with drive of hydraulic wedge, built-in starter, cylinder-piston group of "Mahle" brand. Testing of engineering sample shows the correctness of chosen direction of work, because this saw'll obtain improved operational and ergonomic indexes, easy start, light weight and low consumption of fuel. At the nearest time the plant'll start the preparation for production of this model.
The immediate plans of the plant are to continue the works on improvement of products'quality and technical data, to equip professional saws with new, more powerful and reliable ignition system, with cutting equipment (bar, sprocket, chain) made by foreign manufacturers, to make new, bright, colourful package for the saws.
And the most important is to direct all the energies to realization of the assortment strategy of the plant the strategy of success.
